How mail-in repair works

GM Mirror Fix is a mail-in repair service — you don't need to be local to McKinney. You remove the mirror yourself (see our removal instructions), pack and ship it to the address above, and we ship it back once the repair is complete.

How to pack your mirror

1. Wrap the mirror glass on its own in bubble wrap or a towel — it's the part most likely to crack in transit.
2. Wrap the whole mirror housing (motor, gears, wiring) in bubble wrap or packing paper.
3. Use a sturdy box sized to the mirror with a couple inches of room on every side.
4. Fill the empty space with packing paper, bubble wrap, or peanuts so the mirror can't shift or knock around.
5. Put a note inside the box with your name, phone number, and order number.
6. Tape the box well and ship it with tracking (USPS or UPS both work).
