Chevrolet Suburban Power-Fold Mirror Repair

2007-2014 Suburban (GMT900 generation) — same power-fold mirror design as the Tahoe, just on the extended-wheelbase body.

The Suburban is essentially a Tahoe on a longer frame, and GM used the same power-fold mirror assembly across both. So the failure is identical: a small plastic spur gear inside the mirror's motor housing wears down or cracks over time, and the mirror stops folding in and out — or starts making noise without actually moving.
